Decided to finally give in and do blockbuster. The links do not work. The one of the home page for the 25 disney gift card or the one for 18.00 credit. Are these offers over???

Where do they take you? I just tried them and they both worked for me.

Well now for some reason it is working and it wasn't earlier cause I tried each one twice.

Thanks

I did this offer and it is great. It is very nice to have the movies delivered to your door AND to exchange them at the Blockbuster in town for free movies! This is a great deal

I really like the option to be able to return them locally and get more movies. Especially on weekends where we are spending a lot of time at home and vegging out. That way, the kids can have some movies appropriate for them and we can watch what we really want to watch.

Do you have to return to a store or can it all be done by mail??? I don't live close to a blockbuster? It is over 25 miles away

Yes, it can all be done by mail. If you do choose to return your movie to a store, every movie you return to a store gets you a free in store rental. So, basically you get two movies for the price of one. It's a pretty good deal.

Does anyone know how long it takes until you receive the disney gift card after signing up for the blockbuster offer? Thanks

You just need to cash out for it like you would any other redemption. Then we will send it out with our regular cashouts (usually within a week).

Sorry, forgive me, I'm new. What do you mean cash out? I used the link and signed up for the $9.99 trial offer. Is that all I need to do? I couldn't find it in the pending offers to move into pending. :cooldance:

Once you complete it, it should just show up as 25 credits in your account. Then you can go into the regular redemption page and cash out for the card. Unfortunately, because of the new holding policy, it will mean that it shows up as as 25 credit with a hold on it until the 15th of next month.

Oh, okay. I hope you don't think I'm too dense. However, I did do the offer on 7/4/07 and I don't have any credits for the $25 in my account (on hold or anything). I did use the link on the SR site...and I have watched about six movies already. :cooldance:

I also did it and don't see $25 in my holding account:confused: Has anyone done this recently and actually seen the credits post?????

I'm seeing normal Blockbuster credits through the 10th. I haven't seen any since the 10th though, which might be a little abnormal.

I did mine on the 2nd and it credited the $25. We are enjoying the movies. Blockbuster is only on the other side of town, but much easier to get these thru the mail. AND, not be on a timeline to get them back. :)

I did mine on the 4th (of July) and don't see the credit. Am I looking in the wrong place? Where would it be showing? :computer:

Just be sure that NO ONE in your household has ever had a Blockbuster membership before. If we file a trouble ticket and it turns out that they denied you because you were a duplicate membrship of some kind, your account gets flagged for fraud by the advertisers.

We're totally new to Blockbuster  Been a "Netflix" family for years but wanted to make the switch. SR was a great incentive to finally do it :sunshine:

We've never belonged to blockbuster either...unless you count a normal membership at the store. Never online. We do belong to netflix, however.

same here, normal membership but no sign ups. Plus the normal "in the store" membership is in my husbands name at our old address. They have asked us numerous times to sign up but we never have.

Does that mean a Blockbuster store also? I had one years ago, but it is closed now since my local library carries alot of good movies. I've never had the online Blockbuster though.

As long as you and noone in your household has had an ONLINE account you should be fine. Just remember that these are slow, snail slow to credit so do expect it for about 3 weeks.
