Hey Tricia-

I have been one of those survey converts this month! How great to get that $0.80!! And that bonus...I'm going to try for the extra $$ for sure!!

My question is regarding the time of day the surveys are done & if that has any impact as to when we/you get credit for them? For example, I've done surveys Sun-Wed this week but I didn't get any payment for one dated 07/17 (Tuesday)...but I'm wondering if the one I got credit for today dated 07/18 was really the one I did on the 17th but perhaps after midnight your time? And the one dated the 18th is NOT the one I did last night again after midnight.... Does that make sense? What are your thoughts?

Thanks!

The surveys seem to go by EST time....east coast time... if it is after midnight in that time zone... it is the next day...

The time is the time you finish the survey... the time you get the congrats message... even if it is a few minutes after midnight... it counts for the next day...

Ok thanks...so then because I've been doing them so late chances are I'm a day "behind" SR. Can I do them earlier tonight at all or do you have to be 24 hours between each survey you do?

I had that happen when I was on West Coast time in June. I was thrown off twice that week due to the time differences. It really has to be 24 hours :( I wish I could have gotten around it but I couldn't.

I've gotten in at 23 hours... and then had two credit for the same day...
It has happened twice this week.. but it is risky... I understand that if I miscalculate, I could end up doing a survey and not getting credit

Ok, last night I know it was after midnight Eastern, so I will not do one tonight because I needs to get my sleep! :)

But here's a question...the 24 hrs thing....is it that if you try to do a survey it says you can't as it hasn't been 24 hrs or is it that you could do one, but it hasn't been 24 hrs in SR & you won't get credit? Or said another way, could do one in less than 24 hours & I just won't get credit for it?

I have seen people be able to get in and take a survey before 24 hours and then they get credit for it. If greenfield pays for it you will get paid for it. Usually if they let you in to take another you are ok.

I think when Greenfield changed the way of doing surveys, it also changed the 24 hour thing. In the last month, I have been able to do surveys at all hours of the day and still get credit the next day. I think it is now per day and not per 24 hours. Here is my list of times for the month:

7/2 11:51am
7/3 1:12pm
7/4 2:31pm
7/5 2:34pm
7/6 2:51pm
7/7 2:56pm
7/8 3:01pm
7/9 7:01pm
7/10 7:39pm
7/11 4:45pm
7/12 7:49pm
7/13 6:49pm
7/14 1:56pm
7/15 1:14pm
7/16 1:53pm
7/17 10:22am
7/18 1:15pm

As you can see from the highlighted times, that some are definitely earlier than the day before. And I am on the East Coast, so all times are EST. I have gotten credit for every survey I have taken this month. I took number 18 today. So, Magical JenK, why not take a survey now. If it credits tomorrow then things are all good. Let us know if it worked for you.

I would love if it was per day, not 24 hours!
Sometimes I may start in the morning, but not get in until late afternoon. And then having to wait 24 hours and start all over and then can't get in, and so on and so on.
And today I took a chance cause I'll be gone the rest of the day to a wedding out of town (on the beach!) and so I took a chance and did it this morning. Hope it goes thru!:p

Ok, I did a survey last night around 10pm Eastern. This morning I got credit for it & the one I did after midnight the night before! So perhaps it really is by date & not 24 hours???

hmm i'll be a guinea pig today. I have to go out of town so I won't make my 10pm time slot tonight anyways. I'll post monday what happens.
