I wouldn't give up just yet. I had to apply twice, and it took awhile to hear from them. I don't remember exactly, but I do know it was long enough that I was surprised when the email came.
Make sure you are looking carefully in your junk mail in case it gets put there.

How odd that you've been turned down and all of this.....I don't remember how long it was between applying and acceptance, but I've had a REALLY good experience with them .... well except for so few opps lately...
