Just an fyi for those of you who are waiting for your Disney GC. I cashed out on 10/30 and received gift cards today in the mail )directly from Disney Shopping). Hooray!!! We are leaving on 11/28 and we should be eating in style thanks to SR!!

Oooh...I hope some Sunshine Mail is headed my way before we leave next Friday. But, first, I need to go to the post office to pick up my mail. I put in a hold order starting next Friday and we didn't get any mail delivered today. I think they starting holding it on the wrong date - more than the first time they've done that. Grrr...:headache:

I am sorry to hear that you didn't get your gift card. Unfortunately, you cashed out a bit late - the redemption page does state 2-4 weeks delivery time. The Disney cards are now being sent straight from Disneyshopping so that adds to the time.

Hopefully you can save these cards for your next trip?

Unfortunately, that gave us less than 3 weeks and it is taking the full 4 that our terms state. Sorry about that. But when Disney made the changes to their program last month, it pushed back all of our cashouts. In addition to that, the holiday cashout traffic is aways much heavier than the rest of the year...plus the mail is slower. We always tell people to allow 4 weeks because of that. :(

Just my opinion,
It seemed to me that Gift Cards take a little longer through Disney than through SR. I ordered a small gift card 18th of October, and we left for our trip nov 21. Of course it was here at home waiting when we returned. So it took about 5-6 weeks.

Going back through this thread, looks like most are taking almost 4 weeks exactly. Which means mine will probably arrive on the day we leave (Monday). Planning on using to either put towards the next trip OR use for after Christmas shopping deals on Disneyshopping.com!! :p

If you just need to know when it was mailed I think Tricia's post a few back says that yours was mailed out by Disney on Sunday. That should answer your question. Now how long the USPS takes to get it to you lol who knows.

Just curious - How do the gift cards arrive - regular mail or UPS? I cashed out for $400 worth last week & was wondering how to expect them in the future. When I bought Disney gift cards before from the website, they were UPS & had to be signed for, which was hard since I'm not home during the day - had to go over to the UPS depot to get them. Of course, for Disney gift cards that's really not a burden:banana:

Well, I'm happy to report that the missing gift card has been found (yeah!)....but I am SO embarrassed!!!

It turns out the GC arrived while I was in Florida a week and a half ago just as I thought it would. DH put it in the wrong "pile" for me and I didn't find it until this morning! OY!!!

So thank you all for your concern and I'll just go and crawl back under my rock now!

Now with the new timeframe for mailing thru disney I am SOOOO glad that I cashed out the beginning of Jan. for my giftcards.........that way I am fairly sure they will arrive before my end of March trip.........Like Spring (pat) had mentioned , I think on another thread, as long as we know what the timeline is on mailings we can plan ahead.

Have you opened a TT? I think maybe they can track it down for you. I'm still waiting. It's been 5 weeks but I'll open a TT after 6 weeks if it's still not here. I hope you get yours soon. :(
