DS 24 hour period

I just did a DS this evening(12/20), my first DS for 12/20. I started it at 8:40pm PST (11:40pm EST) and finished it at 9:06 pm PST (12:06am EST). So does it count for 12/20 or 12/21 since I got the congrats page at 12:06am EST on 12/21?

I just need to know if I can try for a Daily survey when i wake up on 12/21 or just try for a SM survey. i don't want to get caught double dipping for a DS.

It counts for 12/21 since you finished after midnight eastern time (which is the time GF goes by).
