I had mentioned in chat on Friday that I was thinking we should try and set up a meet for the West Coast. Since I'm going to be down there in May I was thinking of trying to plan it for then if it might work for others.

Let me know a) are you interested and b) would the afternoon of May 17 (Sunday) work for you?

Any ideas for what we should do for the meet? A meal? Catch some rides? Find a spot to chat?

I may be interested. I would have to talk to hubby and check the calendar but it would be fun! I would be up to anything anywhere on the west coast.

Resurrecting this thread...

I'm thinking that maybe we could do a dinner (maybe Storyteller's Cafe?) on Sunday, May 17 and then try to catch the fireworks if they are on that night.

Thoughts? Other ideas?

Gosh, I wish I could! Disneyland is just too far for me though....:(

We're going to do our best to make it down! We may not be able to stay for dinner (the dogs look for any chance to escape when we're not around) but we'd definitely like to try!

I casually brought up the topic with DH tonight ... and he just sighed. :( So, even though it's fairly close for me, I think I won't go. If I wasn't already doing the meet in October, I would probably drive down myself (unless there was really cheap airfare) but DH obviously doesn't want to travel right now. Maybe we over did it on WDW going 2 times in 2 months??? Naw, couldn't be that. That's just silly. :rotfl:
