"w00t" was originally an trunicated expression common among players of Dungeons and Dragons tabletop role-playing game for "Wow, loot!" Thus the term passed into the net-culture where it thrived in video game communities and lost its original meaning and is used simply as a term of excitement.
"I defeated the dark sorcerer! Woot!"
"woot! i r teh flagmastar!" (Think Tribes)
"Woot, I pwnzed this dude's boxen!'

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MUD
"In computer gaming, a MUD (Multi-User Dungeon, Domain or Dimension) is a multi-player computer game that combines elements of role-playing games, hack and slash style computer games and social chat rooms. Typically running on a bulletin board system or Internet server, the game is usually text driven, where players read descriptions of rooms, objects, events, other characters, and computer-controlled creatures or non-player characters (NPCs) in a virtual world. Players usually interact with each other and the surroundings by typing commands that resemble a natural language, usually English.
Traditional MUDs implement a fantasy world populated by elves, goblins, dwarves, halflings and other mythical or fantasy-based races with players being able to take on any number of classes, including warriors, mages, priests, thieves, druids, etc., in order to gain specific skills or powers. The object of the game is to slay monsters, explore a rich fantasy world, to complete quests, go on adventures, create a story by roleplaying, and/or advance the created character. Many MUDs were fashioned around the dice rolling rules of the Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) series of games."

Thank you i got them in 2005 when i was at WDW right after the launch of the GAME! I also was one of the rare few people to get to go on the VMK special tour at WDW for doing all of the quest not once but twice!
I do love my Gold ears, I have to get on and get a Green Flip hat rereleased today!
Do you play VMK?
I thought it made a great avatar and i have been using that on DIS for a while and well as you know its very hard to make a SIG on SR! Too many RULES!!! and i thougth the DIS rules were BAD!
It took me 2 hours to get my how long i have been in sr ticker up!

I do play VMK. Not religiously though. I'm no good at Pirates or Mansion so I don't get very far. And I've only ever traded with myself (gotta love mules).
So glad the baseball stuff is coming back out. Seems like most stuff will be re released if you wait long enough anyway.
Sad that VMK central at WDW is closing two days before I get there!

I am so sorry to hear that it would be reaching the same fate as DLR VMK central, But not surprised, I was happy to know i would be able to make one last vist, But i knew many would never get to, or had planned to and now will not!
I am glad they are re-releasing alot, I do not play all the time usualy quest, and a few games, I am ok at pirates Against my Mules! :) Got to love 2 fast computers and vmk PAL! and ok at HM! I always get on to get the weekend pins! and New items when i can afford them!
You dont want to start a Mule competion When they had the quest for treasure dection magic I made over 30 Mules to try and get a sorrcer mickey hat! I have 3. Two girls and a boy. I was going to make another on my trip to get the black ears but I don't know if they will still have that option in the parks anymore. I find it hard to keep track of who has what. My old brain I guess :rotfl:
I tried to get my mules to play me once and I couldn't get it to work. I guess my computer just can't keep up. It can barely handle the chat on here!

I know If i start running Flash Chat my computer slows down, But then again i have 40 internet windows up and open, BB8 live feed running, and tons of other stuff!
VMK takes alot too I lag a lot when i play my mules, or if i am playing just Jungle Crusie Noting will pop up then BAMA! 45 animals to click!
Well I hope they might not have the computers pulled and you can make a character to get your black ears! I dont know if they are still giveing out gold ears for buying ears! If they do take away the black ears, I think the will be for sale soon!

It would be cool if they sold the ears. Lots of people can't get to one of the parks.
Anything interesting in BB land?

Nothing too interesting on the BB land a few are lounging around in the backyard and a few are working out!
I think Zack was just talking about his mom has not flowen in 25 years and that it would be a big deal for her to fly out to meet him after the show if he was in the finals! and she is afriad of lots of people, but she got a book! and ...
I know i have liked and disliked how you can only get some items in the park, but vmk was to be a tool to bring people to the park! and SPEND money! Nothing is FREE!

Very wise.
I have a feeling I'll lose interest in VMK one day and then I can have fun going through and randomly giving stuff away.

I actually put my name on the list at WDW to take the VMK tour, but DH decided he wanted to do something else. I went along with him thinking I would get back eventually before the end of our trip. Sadly, that never happened.:( I can't believe VMK central at WDW is closing. Bummer.
I haven't played VMK in a looonnnngg time. It was a lot better during the beta testing phase. Now there are just too many people on there. I think it was last year when they had the maze game and you would have to wait in a queue of 900 people and then get the BSOD. Ugh. I haven't really played much since then. In fact, I should probably go check my account and see if it is still active.

Thank you, I like being called wise, and not as in a wise potato chip!
Many people do thats why the run free room to give it away and not let it turn back into just 1's and 0's. Some free rooms are still scamms! Another reason so many people leave!

The Tour was real fun, and glad i did it, you learned more about vmk and the up and coming tommorwland, and frontierland, with the new HM game, and Tommorwland arcade, you got a special vmk jungle cruise ride front of the line access, and front of the line acccess on BTM as well, then you did the HM quest to get the ultra rare HM items and room, with also front of the line access on HM, all done in about 2 hrs, with lots of disney park and vmk triva, and vmk card prizes!
I hated BSOD and the neverend quess Hey we got them back! but we have fastpass Kinda!
Check to see if your accounts are still vaild!

I think they reworded it to say that any inactive accounts may be removed from there system and that they could and would not be restored!
