Small World Upgrade

Check out the new video at the bottom of the page! It shows some of the new changes to It's A Small World at Disneyland. I had no idea that they were adding popular Disney characters to the ride. It looks really cool!

Interesting video! I have to admit that I think my husband and I are some of the only ones who don't care for this one (that's putting it mildly LOL). I'm sure we'll ride it for the kids at some point though!

I knew it was happening but hadn't seen any footage. I like that they kept them in the same style. The video makes me wish I was going to be walking down Main Street tomorrow instead of 3 and a half months from now!

It's one of my favorite rides especially at Disneyland. I'll admit the song can get to me..........but I was fortunate enough to meet Disney Legends the Sherman Brothers (Richard & Robert) who wrote the song (they wrote many other Disney songs too) and Alice Davis an Imagineer (wife of Imagineer Marc Davis) she designed and made the costumes for It's a Small World and Pirates of the Caribbean. It's a very special attraction for me.

The ride seems brighter and more sparkly than ever. I really liked getting back in the boat and floating around from land to land. There were very few people in the park today - all that rain kept them home, I think - and we basically just walked on at 1:30.

Yes, they've added some doll film characters and there purists who will shout "EVIL EVIL," but it all looks great!

I think it's Awesome, can't wait to see it. It really needed to be refreshed, imagine the people that haven't gone on it for years, me included..this will bring em' back.
