To the OP - when you called to make payment on your trip, did you just give them the GC number and they applied it to your trip? I have only used my GCs before for shopping at Disney, this year with funds a little tight, I want to use it to pay on the trip. TIA!

Yes that's how it works or you can apply it online if you booked through Disney. You can also give the GC info to a travel agent & they can apply it as payment too. Pretty slick!!
