I could use some support as my family is coming to visit and my apartment is a wreck.
Oh Janet where are you?? :rotfl:

If I lived a little closer, I'd come help you. However, cleaning is not my favorite chore, either. :(

OK, 15 minutes cleaning and 15 minutes SR. And if you are super creative you could turn it into a workout/cleaning session and kill 2 birds with one stone!!:rotfl:

Mine either. I guess I'll set my timer for 15 minutes and do some straightening up and then come and see what's going on over here.

Yeah, not a favorite chore here either! But... think of the extra calorie burning you'll be doing!!

Alrighty I took a straight half hour and got everything under control. So now its just moving Mike out, finishing the dinner dishes, and then wiping down the bathtub. I'll have to vaccuum later as its a bit to late to do that now.

Funny thats what I was doing. Cleaning and watching the Saints game. Grandparents and MIL are coming over in the morning for the kids Grandparents day celebration. Had to wipe down everything and sweep. 15 minutes of that and 15 minutes of screaming at the TV and SRing at the same time LOL

I was cleaning along with you earlier today. My parents and brother are coming for the weekend. I hate cleaning also. :(
But on a happier note, my new Dyson vaccuum came today. It is AWESOME! I did the entire house including the staircase and I actually enjoyed it. Wish someone would invent a way to make cleaning the toilet this much fun ..... :rotfl:

I also have a Dyson and I love it. I lost one of the little pieces that you can remove to clean it out. It was lost in the remodel of my bedroom. I went online ordered a new piece and had it in 5 days. I love the no bags thing. AWESOME. Cleaning toilets, here is what I do, I bought the KABOOM powder and every night when everyone gets in bed I go and pour capful in each toilet and walk away. It foams up to the rim and cleans the basic stuff. I keep a Clorox cleaning wand with a refill on it in the garbage pail and in the morning I just swish it around the toilets and flush. Once a week I change to a new refill and scrub out the bowl with it but there isnt usually much left to scrub. I also keep one tub of Clorox wipes in each bathroom. When I go in to put the KABOOM in a wipe around the seat and bowl with a wipe and then throw it away. Easy Peasy. I also use these to wipe of the couters and fixtures real quick. Takes me five minutes a night and I dont have to do the half hour cleaning every week or rush in trying to clean it when company comes.

Moving Mike out...what, he isn't allowed to see the family. Heck make him clean and let him stay.

He's allowed to clean and see the family (which he will be doing). He's just not allowed to live with me while they are here :rotfl:

He goes back to his own apartment. Basically it serves as a storage place for my excess stuff and then his furniture that will disappear when we do finally move in together but he doesn't realize that...

If I lived closer I would be more than willing to come and help out. I spent the day cleaning the house. I still have the family room and play area in the basement to clean up tomorrow.
