Leaving on a jet plane.........

We're leave for Alaska tomorrow. :banana::banana:

Our ride comes at 4:30am. By 6pm PT we'll be in Vancouver. We stay 3 days in Vancouver at Sutton Place (thanks Pat (Spring) for the information) and on the 17th We get on the Island Princess for a 7 day cruise to Alaska.

After the cruise we are taking a land tour to Denali National Park and Copper River.

So see you in about 3 weeks. Don't have too much fun without me. I probably won't be able to check in. The internet is very expensive on the cruise.

What a surprise!!! Thank you so much for the cookies Megan. They were delicious and just what we needed after a long day at Grouse Mountain. Vancouver is a wonderful city and we did enjoy our time there.

We arrived home at midnight last night, we had a fabulous time. We were so busy, up early every day and on the go. What a gorgeous state Alaska is. We saw so much and the people were so nice. Everyone asked where we were from and when they heard Rhode Island, they always had something in Alaska to compare to the size of RI. We were told by several people that over 470 Rhode Islands can fit into the state of Alaska. :rotfl: It was interesting.

Steve took most of the pictures (at last count it was over 1000 pix :eek: ) and I'm hoping he puts them on the computer quickly so I can post some.
He has already posted some on facebook so in the meantime, I will grab them from his page and start an album from my facebook page. Hopefully tomorrow.

That is amazing...over 470 Rhode Islands. Hard to imagine just how BIG it is...especially when I can drive from my state...thru another to yours in just a couple of hours.

I'm a volunteer for MOMS Club and my state is RI! :) I still can't grasp it's size and I was there last Oct. lol
