For people new to Sunshine Rewards or rewards programs in general, you may be wondering what the difference is between a "Survey," a "Freebie," and a "Daily Survey." Here's a quick primer:

Survey: Offers listed on Sunshine Rewards as "Surveys" are generally companies wanting your personal information and/or opinion. Some will be survey companies that will route you to other surveys. Some will be surveys themselves that assess your interests in order to find various offers and newsletters that might interest you. These surveys will always require personal information including your email address, home address, and possibly even phone or cell phone number.

Freebie: Offers listed in the "Freebie" section of Sunshine Rewards are generally low paying offers where you provide your personal information and sign up for newsletters or offers in exchange for the chance to win a prize. These offers will always require personal information including your email address, home address, and possibly even phone or cell phone number. Always be sure to read the fine print for the requirements for the freebie. Prizes advertised in these offers are fulfilled by the freebie company, not Sunshine Rewards.

Daily Survey: The Daily Survey page that is listed on Sunshine Rewards is for Greenfield Opinion Surveys. This is a company that contracts with other companies to genuinely get your opinion. These are done almost anonymously except for demographic and qualifying information. In most cases, you do not need to provide your name, address, or even email address.

Ok, I feel stupid for asking this, but where is the button for just 'survey' and not the 'daily survey'? Since I never actually qualified for a daily survey in many many tries.

Good question. :) You can go to "Offers/Contests" "Offers by Category" in the main menu. Then, you will see "Surveys." Click there and you will see TONS of offers that are about .30 to 1.00 credits each. Start with some of the ones that say MID in parentheses.

Totally new to this and sorry if this is a stupid question. What does MID stand for? Also, it seems that you have to subscribe to a new credit card or take out a loan to qualify for some of these. I saw you on the disboards for DW and thought this may be a fun way to earn Disney $ but I'm not sure about this. Any advise welcome and thank you in advance for your feedback

Daily surveys and your 2 cents survey's won't post on the weekend any taken on Fri-Sun will post sometime on Monday. During the normal week they'll post the next day usually around 930 or 1230 EST. The SR ladies are in NY this week so things may be a little slower then normal.

Welcome to SR! Read the stickies and ask questions it does help!

No questions are stupid. Feel free toask so you can learn. Once you catch on to how it works you will be making money easily. The higher paying offers usually do involve a purchase of some kind. The ones that pay anywhere from .30 to $1 are usually just asking you to answer a bunch of questions and checking out some offers. You DO NOT have to buy anything for those to credit. They just ask you sign up for the original offer with correct information and then go through all their offers till you get to the congratulations page. Sometimes they will send you an email or two to confirm the email address. Sometimes they credit and sometimes they don't, but you can try again every 30 days.
You can take up to 3 surveys a day. The Daily survey worth .90 is a Greenfield and you must take that using the same demographic info every time (meaning you can't take them some days and then your hubby others) The OTX surveys are .75 and they can be taken every 24 hours, then the SM surveys are worth
.50, only take them after you have completed a daily survey because it is the same company and the daily is worth more. OTX usually credits at the top of the hour after it is completed, SM the same crediting at the top of the hour, but the daily surveys credit the following day and not on the weekends(those credit on Mondays).
If you do any shopping online, check here first. If you go through the SR link you will get a percentage back.
Also check the forum for hints, tips and contests. It takes alittle getting used to but it can be really rewarding and you will find that almost everyone here is basically friendly and helpful :) Welcome and have fun!!!
