Why don't you just cash out for two 20's?

Then I'm going to go w/ the argument that one $40 credit would be $40.25 and 2 $20 credits would be $40.50 so in theory, I would be savign 0.25 cents. That's my argument and I'm sticking to it. (Really it's just a way to cover up the fact that I had a blond moment and couldn't count)

Are you at all close to SM status? If so, I'd wait until after Oct 1 / when you are SM-a-tized because the $0.25 fee is waived for SMs. :sunshine:

Don't feel bad...I reheated my coffee for 45 minutes instead of 45 seconds this morning, realized it about 7 minutes in...what a mess! We all have those "duh" days!

There's actually a reason that we only go up to $30. Basically, these Disney Dollars are like cash. And we HAVE had envelopes get lost in in the mail before. People get REALLY angry at us when the Disney Dollars get lost and they want us to replace them, even though our policy is not to because of fraud. So we try to 1) encourage people to cash out for the gift cards instead (which are replaceable), and 2) limit the amount of Disney Dollars that we put in one envelope. That way, if your envelope does get lost, you are not out quite so much money.

I know that technically people would just say "If I choose to take the chance of ordering the Disney Dollars, you should just send them to me." But what ends up happening is that we get trashed on message boards and in blogs for not replacing the dollars anyway. So we try to limit our liability.

Probably too long an explanation. But at least you now know the method to our madness. LOL!

I just cashed out for $30. We leave for Disney on the 28th. Will we have these in time? I know it's close so if not I understand. Thanks.

The typical turnaround answer is two weeks. So that means 2 weeks from monday would be 10 + 14 = 24. That would mean you would be ok. Add to that the fact that these are usually a much quicker turn around and I wouldn't be concerned about them arriving.
