This offer was a 2.oo free offer Sunshine girl said at the time it took a few day to get credit . has anyone that did it get credit yet ? I did it on the 18th and was just wondering if I just missed the credit or if its still floating out there .

I did. LOL! I tried it myself and then didn't put it out because it didn't credit. Then BAM! About a week later it appeared. So I think they are just a delayed credit.

An update on these. I all of a sudden saw like 50 of these come through a couple of hours ago...followed by a note that they are lowering the payout to 15 cents!! When I go into my account, though, it isn't showing any of the money for all of these leads. So I am trying to get verification from them about why they first paid me for them and then took the money away. Hopefully they are just having some technical issues with changing the payout and will put them back in my account this evening. There were a LOT of them.

Oh, this is nice. The advertiser just told me that instead of paying me the 3.00 per signup that they had listed the offer at, they are now only going to pay at the .15 offer rate because it was supposed to be 3.00 if someone signed up for an annual subscription and .15 if someone just signed up for the freebie. But that is not what they had listed. Grrrrr.......... And this is not even the same advertiser as the PetCareRx fiasco last week!

I'm telling you. Sometimes I think this house of cards of incentive offers is going to come crashing down on my head! :mad:

I'm going to see what I can get out of the advertiser and then I will pay out whatever they will give me without taking a cut. They are supposed to be working on the stats right now.

Please let us know what they say before you pay out without taking a cut. You have a family to feed with this. We would all agree that you can't make it if you keep having to eat your profits because of advertiser mess ups. This wasn't a paid offer so I am sure that most people would be willing to accept whatever you are able to get out of them. Here is hoping that they get off the pot. :sunshine2:

In some ways, the incentive world is a little "dirty." Okay, in a lot of ways. It's really hard to know who the legit advertisers are and who isn't. A lot of times, somone will be running an offer for a really reputable company (like Blockbuster) so you think that they must be legit because Blockbuster would not do business with someone that wasn't. Then you find out that Blockbuster doesn't even know that the company is selling their advertisements because there are so many layers of companies involved.

Yes, rewards sites are like sausage. The end product is pretty good, but you don't want to see how it is made! :rotfl:

ITA with jnorth on this....it is not your fault that they are rescinding their original offer. I for one would pass on the credit for this one if it meant you not getting any of it.

Thanks for the update. That explains why mine and everyone elses hasn't credited yet. Don't worry about it...just delete it from mine...it is no big deal. No sense in you losing money on this.

I'll see what I can get out of them. I just hate the thought of giving people 15 cents when they signed up expecting 2 dollars. Even if it were 15 cents when they expected 50 cents it wouldn't be quite so bad.

I don't mind not making anything off of the offer AT ALL. I don't need to get rich off of all of you. :) I just feel badly when I know that everyone was really hoping that this one would come through. I should always trust my gut. I thought this offer was too good to be true. That's why I did it myself first and waited a week to make sure that I got my credit before I posted it. Then I release it to everyone and BAM! it backfires.

Thanks for the update Tricia. Like other posters, it was a freebie that wasn't even guaranteed to credit, so there's no love lost for me! Given the time you've had to spend tracking down the story, I'd personally prefer you keep the .15 credits. I wasn't holding my breath for the 2 credits in the first place, and I'm certainly not going to lose sleep over .15!! Thanks for all that you do - your communication skills as a group leader are FANTASTIC!! :)
