Anyone up for a new goal thread

My goal WAS $150 by Oct 15 for my cruise, but I just had to cashout in order to replace my camera. So I am starting from now until the end of October, to have $150 to cashout via Paypal (I'm using my Disney Visa for the ship board credit) on my December cruise. :)

My goal is 1,000 by June 15th, 2011. I want SR to pay for the majority of our Disney Dining Plan for our family trip in late August, 2011.

So far I am at approx $213.00. This earnings has been since June 3, 2010.

I'm in!! I have my choice of either 2 goals.

$500 for Disney Gift Card to cash out by 11/1 - to ensure plenty of delivery time during the holidays...my trip is 1/6.

or

$500 to pay pal cash out on 10/30 to pay 11/30 and $100 to paypay cash out 11/30 to pay on 12/30.

it really just depends on what the DDP cost is for 2011 and a 2 day park pass.

We are 80% certain that we are going to Disneyland for the weekend of Nov. 13 and 14. My SRs goal is $250 for that trip.

What do you think is the latest date for cashing out and not worrying about timing?

Should I cash out for a $75 gift card now to ensure it gets here on time? I need to do this before the end of July right?

Should I just transfer funds to PayPal at the end of every month? I love the idea of having a Disney gift card because they are so cute and I can't spend the money on anything else. But if we end up not going...

Cashouts for Disney cards usually take about 6 weeks to receive. If you cash out by the end of September, you should have it in time for your trip. If it makes you feel safer, allow yourself 7 weeks just to make sure. Good luck on making your goal. With all the surveys, you should be able to make that. :sunshine:

My first goal...

My goal is $500 by August 31, 2011. We're going to WDW next year in December for sure, and possibly October as well (Or we may go to Disneyland in April or May) and I want to have a big GC to use to help pay for dining and party tickets! I am motivated...I know I can do it! (Almost at $30 in just 2 weeks!)

Update on my goal- I am 25% of the way there! Yeah baby! hit $250.01 tonight. :party:

Already made SM for the quarter. Rightnow I am in the top 8. We shall see if I can stay there. :angel: Doubt it but it's fun to try.

Well my goal was 250.44 by 8/15 and I didn't quite make it by I got VERY close. I probably would have hit it by mid next week but I was scared to wait that long to cash out and then not get my card in time. So I cashed out for 2 $100 cards instead. Still VERY exciting and I now I need a new goal!!!!

We leave on October 1st so I think I have time to earn some money before the end of August and then I can cash out for Paypal and get it at the end of September and have it for our trip. So with 17 days I am going to set a goal of $75 by August 31st!

I need to join in so I can get motivated again. DH and I will be celebrating our 30th Wedding Anniversary in January. I would love for us to go to New York and take in a couple of shows and to stay in the Waldorf Astoria Hotel. I would like to do this without taking from our Summer vacation fund, so I'm gonna need to earn as much as possible.

Right now I'm at 198.00. I have three/four months to earn. Maybe I'll set a goal of 500.00. I can do that within 4 months. I can cashout November 30 for it to be in my account for December 30. That will be three months instead of four or I can cashout Dec 30 and it'll be here when we get back. Either way, it shouldn't be too hard to earn 300.oo more dollars.

Okay, 300.00 it is by Dec/Jan. I think I can do it.

Hit my $75.00 and cashed out. It should post on the 1st which is out check in day at Disney and I can transfer it to my account and have it before my vacation week is up! I have earned all I can for this trip. I have actually cashed out for $775 for this trip. One $500 card, two $100 cards and $75 paypal. I am so excited! Thanks SR!!!


Now to change my goal. My new goal since I haven't booked another trip yet is to hit $500 again. I don't have a goal date yet but once I get back from this trip I will have an idea of when we want to go back and I can set a date. Woohoo!!

I've sorta changed my goal. It's now $500 by end of October. Then I will start over again and hope for at least $800 by the beginning of June.

DH is retiring from the military. I was assuming I would be able to buy my AP at Shades of Green in March when I go on a 'girl's trip' with my mom and some friends. But....come to find out I don't get a dependent ID card once he retires- just he does. Bummer. So I can't get that chunky discount. Anyway, so now SR will be paying for my AP for 2011.

And SR will be paying to feed my family of 5 when we go on a family WDW trip in August 2011! :sunshine: LOVE IT!

Keep an eye on Hotels.com-they occaisonally have rates under $300 for the Waldorf-Astoria.

I'm only at 44; but my bigger concern is that I only have $66 for the quarter. I need about $2 a day, so I'm trying to get in gear! And the fact that I'll be paying off my cruise soon gives me extra incentive!

With all of the surveys that are available you have a chance to make over $100 in month. You can also earn money when you shop online. I don't do a lot of online shopping, I take into account that I may not qualify for everything nor have the time to complete them everyday ...so I cut mine and half and my monthly goal is $50.00.
