All this from SR. Thank You Thank You Thank You.:sunshine2:

While this first family trip would've been possible without SR, the rewards/free money have added so much extra to the trip.
$45 Mickey cake for the boys' birthdays 11/24 & 11/30 (turn 9 & 6)
$135 DH to play golf one day
$88 Neverland Club for the boys while DH & I celebrate our 14th anniversary at Le Cellier one night (it was yesterday)
$70 Pirate Cruise for the boys
Money for souvenirs and adult drinks.

Thanks Tricia so much, I'm so glad I found SR.

Thanks everyone. I can't wait to see the wonderment in my kids faces the first time they see the castle.
I also can't wait to hear my DH admit that it isn't like 10 days at Six Flags.

I love the looks our kids get every time we go to MK and see the castle for the first time. It is WONDERFUL! And I love when DH has to admit he is wrong or off base a bit!

Enjoy your trip! You will have a wonderful time! Especially it being the Christmas season!

We're back from WDW and had a wonderful trip with a few glitches but you just have to roll with them.

DH threw out his back getting luggage out of the car at the long term parking lot. He couldn't get up. Between me, the shuttle driver and a man on the shuttle we got him into the shuttle. Thank God for curbside check in.
My sister found a pharmacy that delivers to the resorts and called DH doctor. There were drugs and a back brace waiting at Riverside when we checked in.

The boys & I did the parks by ourselves the first 2 days, he made it to dinner.
One night the 6 yr old had a raging fever. He was fine before bed and in the morning. We just decided to stay at the resort, swim a little and take it easy until our Boma reservation in the evening.
The last 2 days the 9 yr old had a sore throat but no other symptoms so that was taken care of with ibuprofen.

On an up note--Mon - Thurs almost every ride at all the parks were walk on. The longest wait was 10 minutes on space mountain.
The Christmas decorations were awesome. It was about 80 degrees and sunny every day but one.

We ate waaaayyy to much food but it was so good. LeCellier was awesome, great steaks - no kids for a few hours - what a combo. The boys loved the Neverland Club while we were out to dinner. It was hard to get them off the video games when we picked them up.

Now I have to get going on Christmas presents, get the tree up this weekend...

and now I have a little time to breathe and post some pictures of our trip. Once again thank you SR. Without all the extra money we wouldn't have had nearly the stress free souvenir/extra stuff buying.

So, here are some pictures. I took 682!!!! But I'll only bore you with a few.

The cake I ordered and was waiting in the room at Port Orleans Riverside the first evening after supper. DS#2 smeared the mouth before I could get a picture. I made the chocolate circles for the ears and brought them in a suitcase. Sorry, it wouldn't resize for some reason.

Watching the wonder of snow falling at the Osborne Lights MGM on an 80 degree night.

Seeing the castle for the first time. We went to the Crystal Palace for breakfast and they saw it without hardly anyone there. I caught him at mid gasp.

After the Pirate Cruise. Another extra courtesy of SR! This was the best $60 we spent. They had a great time on the boat and treasure hunting. Plus, DH & I had a few hours to ourselves.

Birthday #6 for DS#2 at Chef Mickey's. It was a perfect party for him. Then we got to ride in the front of the monorail. He was in heaven.
Goofy was at the table next to us!

This little fellow, ok, not so little otter we saw twice about dusk while walking at Riverside. It was about 2 feet long or more from front feet to tail. He/She came up from the river, crossed the path and went into the lush vegetation.

The boys loved the Lights Motor Action stunt show and this is their favorite picture. I caught the car mid jump.

We loved seeing what our Mousekeeper did with the animals each day when we got back to the room. This day they were watching TV.

Add lastly, the castle with practically no one in front of it.

OK, I'm ready to go back. DH says maybe every other year. This summer it's the smokey mountains.

Love the otter picture! We did not see any on our trips the last 2 times we stayed at POR.

We go every other year to Disney. I would like EVERY year, but we are able to save up better with the every other year thing. Last time we stayed for 11 days, so for us it gets expensive. Hoping for 12 days in 2009.

Yep, that's why he will go back!! Matter of fact he admitted that the 10 days went really fast and we didn't do nearly what we wanted to do. We would've liked to spend more time relaxing at the resort. I do realize DW isn't a relaxing vacation, that's why we'll hopefully do every other year.

Thanks for the wonderful comments about the pictures.

I don't think I'll do a TR. I'm not real good at writing and I don't think I could compete with some of the great writers over at the disboards.
I'm a picture taker!
Thanks for kind words.
