We are getting a Target!!!!

I know some of us on here have talked about how far away we have to go to shop at a Target. Well, the press released today that we are getting our very first Target store here on the coast. :cooldance: It won't be open until 2009, but atleast I won't have to leave the state to shop at a Target anymore. :rotfl:

Whoo Hoo! I love Target! Now you can go and get the clearance and coupon deals much closer. They are in the process of building one in Hammond, LA that is supposed to be open sometime in 2008, I can't wait. DH just shakes his head at me every time we go by the construction site!:rotfl:

How funny!! :rotfl: Sounds like my DH with me. He can not seem to understand why I am so excited over a store. :confused: But he had worked for the other mart since he was 17 and lets just say he is not a fan of retail! :rotfl:

Congratulations! I know I had major withdrawals the entire time we lived on Oahu, absolutely no Targets unless you wanted to fly to California. Now that we are in Colorado, there's a regular Target just minutes from my house and a huge Super Target about 15 minutes away. I'm in hog heaven. :)

With all the Targets around our area I sort of feel like I'm back in the Twin Cities. We are absolutely surrounded by 4 within 3 miles and 3 more are just beyond that. LOVE Target sales!

DH just informed me last night that we are getting a new Target! We already have one, but it is on the end of town I try to stay away from(very touristy, a lot of outlets and traffic). This new one will be about the same distance as the other one, but I have more inclination to be over on that end of town.

Cali has the most TGTs in the country! I love having so many in 10 mile radius too!! If one doesn't have something, it's not so horrible to drive to the next & the next & the next!!
