We're right across the bay from Mobile and Dauphin Island in Baldwin County, AL. This article was on the front page of our paper this morning. Disgusting. There isn't a punishment deserving enough for what he's done. Sick, sick, sick.

From what I've read he did as an act of revenge upon his wife. I believe she had left him because he has an addiction to crack. Don't quote me, I'm not positive...but I think that's the gist of what I read.

His family was afraid he'd traded the children for drugs. As though that thought wasn't bad enough.

It makes me want to cry - in fact, I did a bit. How could he do such a thing to those poor babies even if he was a druggie??!!!! My heart goes out to the mother of those little ones - how anguishing for her & the family.

I know I cried and cried when I saw it the first time today. And then when I was fixing dinner the local news had it on again and my sweet little Garrett cried about how someones daddy could be so awful. Which of course made me cry more. I just don't understand why people do these things.

I saw the headline earlier today and just couldn't bring myself to read the details. Is it at all possible that he is lying and that those babies will be found alive? The article in the op doesn't really specify if there is evidence of what he says he did.

That is the saddest thing. I just dont understand how people can do these things. Your mad at your wife so you kill your children to get back at her!!!!:confused: God Bless those little ones.

That is just so sad. I couldn't even imagine.

I'll keep the family in my prayers. I just hope the find the bodies so they can give the poor children a proper burial.

I just can't for the life of me fathom why a person would do this to a child! It brings back memories of the Susan Smith ordeal here in SC where she locked her two young boys in a car and let it drive in a lake, and all b/c the man she was having an affair with did not want children. She even had the nerve to get pregnant while in jail!! Just makes me sick!!:(

Liz, that is exactly who I thought of when I read about this latest tragedy. I had no idea she got pregnant while in jail!!! Who was the father? There are some real sick people in this world.

This happened about 45 minutes from our house and has been all over the news today. It just breaks my heart what this man did to his babies.:(

This is very sad...I have been following it on CNN. You know in the past couple of weeks there have been several cases of parents killing there children. It is certainly a scary world we live in.:(

The father was actually one of the prison guards!! Sicko! As another update, David (her ex) is doing really well. He has remarried and I think he has two little girls. I see him around town every so often and he looks happy. Bless his heart it almost killed him when he lost the boys.

That's good to hear about David - I'm glad he has a good wife and 2 little kids again. What an awful awful thing to deal with - that this woman who was your wife and to whom you trusted with your children took them from you forever.
