Dear Jen,

Gray skies are gonna clear up,
Put on a happy face; :)
Brush off the clouds and cheer up,
Put on a happy face. :)
Take off the gloomy mask of tragedy,
It's not your style;
You'll look so good that you'll be glad
Ya' decide to smile!
Pick out a pleasant outlook,
Stick out that noble chin;
Wipe off that "full of doubt" look,
Slap on a happy grin!
And spread sunshine all over the place, :sunshine2:
Just put on a happy face! :)

Now picture me singing and doing a little soft-shoe to this song.....well, maybe not!

I hope things look brighter in the morning!

Unbelivebale huh? WHen I was in China I saw the grasshoppers and crickets they train to fight. It amazes me what they can do with some animals.

Thanks everyone! Many of these did in fact make me smile. Yeah, sorry I'm just kinda down in the dumps today...I've had some beers (yep-plural, pizza & 2 hours of Lost...but I must say this thread make me feel better than any of that!

Yes, Groundhog's day is no Flag Day & I guess I REALLY hope he does NOT see his shadow, I'm sooooo done w/winter. Ahh Tinkerjen...so sweet (although I did kinda give MYSELF that name...kinda selfish huh?). No wine tonight, but yes, beer...alcohol all works right? Loved the song & dance TOTALLY saw you soft toeing!! Thanks! Also, do you really think those goldfish were real??? And most importantly, my fortune cookie today said that I need to go buy my ticket & book my trip! No lie! Maybe that was the pixie dust I needed?

Ok, going off to chat now...thanks again everyone!! SR'ers ROCK! :sunshine:

Oh Jen....I SO know what you mean!!! I have the Winter "blahs" really badly!! I was out the other day and I realized that everything outside was either a shade of gray or brown. How depressing is THAT??? I'm so ready for Winter to be over and to see some sunshine. Actually, we had one beautiful, sunny day this week. But it was about 18 degrees out so a little bit hard to enjoy.

And I totally do not understand the Ground Hog thing. How can he see his shadow when the sun isn't out?

Dee, those fish were a riot! Very interesting!

I hope we cheered you up a little bit Jen. Hang in there! Spring is coming.
