Okay...I am bored silly. I woke up at 4:30 this morning to see DH off to work. Weather is really bad, so he had to leave EXTRA early. Originally I was going to spend the day shopping with DD, swim suit shopping, window shopping, etc. Just wanted to get out of the house. But I already took a nap today, and it is only 9:30 LOL!

I could clean...but typically I stay away from that on weekends - except laundry which is never ending. Maybe I will clean today...oh joy....

I'm with you Angela. I actually went to bed early last night for some reason and I was up at 7:30. Mike is still sleeping and nothing is on Sat morning tv worth watching. I need to come up with a plan quickly for today that involves getting out and not spending a dime.

I need to start on laundry, I know we must be doing some of the neighbors, there are only 3 of us and I am always washing clothes. Also, need to straighten house. But, here I am on the computer. My favorite toy. I am doing some shopping, Drugstore.com has a BOGO sale and I am thinking about trying the Rogaine for Women. My hair has always been fine, but, but I always had tons until the last few yrs. I think pregnancy and old age did a number on it. I have thought about trying Rogaine, it is probably the only hair product I haven't used. I am a big hair product person.:rotfl:

I am also trying to see what Easter shopping I can do. With DD12 having a broken ankle and her next appt on the day I had set aside to go shopping, I am kind of limited. I am thinking about a Disney theme, like a lanyard and some pins that they can trade when we go in 74 days.

I was reading this thread and then went over to check out the BOGO at drugstore.com. Does anyone happen to know what Anti Monkey Butt (http://www.drugstore.com/user/promo.asp?promoid=66903&atrx=dps-16&atrxp1=132232&atrxp2=5&atrxp3=%2Fuser%2Fpromo%2Easp%3Fpromoid%3D66903&atrxp4=133616) is???? No kidding....there is something called that! And it's BOGO too!!

:rotfl:

Angela, I'm proud of you for getting up with DH. I would have (and usually do) just rolled over. You're a good wife!

Anti Monkey Butt!!! LOL!!!! Now what in the world could that be!!!!????

The only reason I got up with him was because I stayed up too late on chat last night, and he was already in bed....hogging the ENTIRE bed. So I got my warm fleece blankets and Buttons and I slept on the couch in the family room by the kitchen. He was pretty noisy getting ready, I had a pinch in my neck from sleeping on the couch, so I just got up. Don't tell him - but I was more curious about the weather....Not as nice of a wife now, am I????

It is a lousy day here in Massachusetts.....rain, rain and more rain.....I am feeling so much better (had the stomach bug yesterday) and it is just me and Sadie (5)....sydney went to her dads last night, but Sadie was afraid she would get sick at daddy's house and wanted to be with me......and of course she wasn't sick, but god forbid 'daddy' had to take care of her if she 'pluked' as she likes to say! We are having a nice relaxing day (I am doing some laundry, cleaned the kitchen) and we may head out for a bit before church this afternoon........although my mom did call and said she would take Sadie to the library to give me a little break (I may take her up on this so I can run out and get a few things for Easter)

Try to have a good day everyone....I will check back later

The snow is just not stopping here. It has been snowing since noon yesterday - it did die down a bit in the afternoon through early evening. But it is blowing 20-30 mph and TONS of snow. The drifts by my house are up to my waist or higher. I would not be able to get the van out of the garage if I wanted to. The snow in front of my driveway is about 4 foot tall by 4 foot wide (gotta love the plows....)

Pamela - good for you! You got some cleaning done! I should do that....

Sign me up for the bored girl club too! DH just left to go truck shopping. He wanted me to go with, but why would I want to look at trucks? I think he wanted me to go to talk him into getting a Yukon. He hates to spend money and tends to overthink things...so I got ready quickly & we're in the truck out of the driveway & he says, "no, you should just stay home. I won't worry about Howie then." AGGGHH! So here I am.

I should clean...the floors so need to be vacuumed, laundry needs to be done, windows should be washed...really what I want to do is go tanning & then get a pedicure...maybe I will?? Hmmmm....

Oh BTW..the reviews made Anti-Monkey Butt sound like a jock itch powder product.

DH wants a YUKON in the worst way. I keep leaning him towards SMALLER SUVs. We will need to get one in a year or 2. The money is just not rolling in right now though....but we shop for fun - or should I say HE shops for fun. I stay in our car and look out the window at the cars.....

I am glad you trust DH with looking at buying a vehicle! My DH has always bought vehicles either 1.) when I am VERY sick and pregnant (just get what you want, leave me alone...I am puking...) or 2.) AFTER I have JUST had a baby (Just...sniff...sniff...get what you...sniff...sniff...want....sniff...sniff... - I cannot think straight because of the post depression thing) I suppose...he must be smart to get vehicles during those times! The brat....

I did go tanning. Walked all the way to the back of the house....ahhhh...it was SOOOOO relaxing....I have to say...it is nice to have your own tanning bed. Especially on days like these!

Well, I got up early, got the next clue up for the trivia contest and had a winner right away. Made a nice big breakfast, scrubbed the floors, made the bed, went to get horse feed, came home made blueberry muffins and tea, ate that and just now sat down with a nice glass of wine and have another contest ready for you bored ladies. So, in just a few, I'll be posting that contest. Tricia will have to take over cause I'm outta here tonight. Big Wine Tasting at Tropicana Field. Love it. Has about 600 wines and 60 of the best restaurants in the area booths. We get all dressed up and go. I think I might even snap a photo of us. Are you ready for some game of HUNT?

Yeah, that WOULD be nice! Soooo jealous! Oh I don't care what kind of auto he gets. It's his & his money. He was thinking of the Yukon for me actually because of the dog show thing. My Accord (that I LOVE) just isn't big enough to cart around 3-4 dogs!! I'd ride to the shows w/my mentors & their dogs...so I can still catch a ride w/them, but I feel bad not being able to return the favor. So he needs a new auto before me (just got the Accord last spring) & so he was thinking the Suburban! Now that's toooo big if you ask me. So I talked him into the Yukon (just a little smaller).

I'm sure he won't even come home w/a new truck. :0) He did bring his dad with, so I called him & said, "just a warning...he already can't make up his mind today! Have fun truck shopping with him!!" ha ha haha His dad is used to it though. He went Harley shopping with him for YEARS and DH never left w/one...I went w/him once & left w/a bike!! Ha!!

Don't forget to set your clocks ahead tonight ladies!!

Oh, thats just a dabbling of what I've done today. Yes, I have way too much energy, and its not a good thing. When my body lays down at night, the rest of me doesn't. I hate being still. DH gets on me cause my resting heart rate is 94. I can't help it though. See where Tricia gets it.

well I thought my day was shot but now I don't know. Mike thought he was having a brake issue on his Rodeo but he went to Midas and the $90 breaks turned into $900 rotors (whatever they are) and so he's coming home to do some price quoting at other places. Just seems so expensive.

I got my 2 errands done - dry cleaning and dropping a box at UPS to return some shoes which were too narrow but now I don't know what we are going to do as Mike has a bunch of errands and I still need to go to the gym.

It's a pretty quiet day here today - cold outside, but not snowing or raining, just windy. You have quite a storm raging where you live, Angela - it makes me feel even colder, brr!
I haven't done too much today - I decided at least one day this week I am NOT doing laundry! So we did go to Walmart and do a little shopping. Otherwise I've just played with the kids, then put them down for their naps, and had a little one myself. Now I'm indulging my addiction to the computer - or that's what it feels like, since I seem to spend so much time doing things, reading things, on it.
On a side note, I am very excited that now I can tell for sure that the baby is kicking!! - I'm at 16 wks.

I've been doing various SR stuff all day today. Fun, fun. LOL! Tonight we are going to get pizza and watch movies. But the kids have to eat PB&J and don't get movies because they were SOOOO bad today. Fighting and yelling and being loud while I was on the phone. We warned them and warned them.

SOunds fair enough for them!! One of the most annoying things is to have your kids making tons of noise when you're on the phone; of course, it is REALLY annoying when warnings don't seem to get through, too!

I so hear you Tricia. All children seem to think when we are on the phone we can't see or hear them anymore. That all previous warnings and rules are now out the window. It just angers me!

Tonight we are having friends over that do not have kids. So I purposely did not give mine naps and am trying to wear them out so that soon after dinner they will go to bed. :) Then we can play games to our heart content!!!

We have been confined to our home today due to a blizzard warning that started yesterday. The snow just ended but we still have high winds so the snow is just blowing everywhere. I think we have around 20 inches of snow which is a record for central Ohio. We have been under a level 3 snow emergency all day which means that emergency vehicles only are allowed on the roads. We are all about ready to kill each other. We aren't used to this much TOGETHERNESS...:rotfl:

Jen, I used to have a Suburban when the girls were little and 4 dogs. I loved it. Now I have a Tahoe. With 3 dogs (I had 4 when we got it.) it works out great. Dog showing must be fun. I am taking a break, but I do train for Rally O.

Yes, that is Howie in my siggy. He's 5 months old now! Growing fast!! I'm brand new to showing, so I'm just learning everything I can right now! We're taking conformation class & a puppy obedience class during the week. He LOVES going! In puppy kindergarten we did some agility & he LOVED it! I hope to do that w/him someday too! I love to watch Rally O as well! So much fun!! Does Ruby do Rally then? Yes! Post photos of her either in the furbabies thread or in your siggy or both!! Love the furbabies!! :sunshine:

Okay guys...I have accomplished a very large goal. I have purchased my bathing suit of the year! I may get one more....but finding 1 I like at the 2nd store I looked at was pretty good for me. Not sure how DH will feel about it. He likes LOTS of skin...I prefer less! LOL So I got a tankini. The bottom is like a flirt skirt - REALLY cute. I am very happy about it! YEAH!

where did you find it? I cannot even think about bathing suit shopping!!!! I hate it......and I am going to disney in 3 weeks......just going to wear the one I got mid summer last year.......it's still fine and plus I am not at my weight goal yet, so I figure I will just live in the ones that I have until I am at goal (no rewarding myself until I get there!!)

Me too, love furbabies! I have done training with Ruby. She loves it. I tried with Ollie, her brother but he is not as good at listening. She is like my shadow. My older guy is too old. I will have to figure out how to put pics on so you can see them. Maybe I can get a good shot of my other girls too.

So we must be due at about the same time! My due date is Aug 24 - but my 1st 2 both came 2 weeks early, so if this one goes the full time, I will be one surprised momma!
Is this her first?
