The weather....ahhhh....SRINGY!

It was BEAUTIFUL today. Around 60-65! Even though I like it around 80, I will definitely take 65 and sunny right now! I took Buttons and Rudy for a walk (Rudy did GREAT for his first walk!) I had capris and a sweatshirt on. I actually got warm on my way home....I think I ALMOST broke out in a small sweat! :)

Plus, we stopped for groceries today. When we got back in the van (after it had been sitting in the hot sun) and the van was SOOOO hot. It felt so good at first. Then I actually....ready for this....had to turn on the air condition! I was so excited about doing that, that I called DH at work and told him I put on the air in the van....He was like...."so"....I explained it was the first time this year that I used it! I was so excited because summer is right around the corner! He didn't get it.....but I am sure at least some of YOU do, don't you????

I get the IDEA behind it but don't have the weather here! It is cold and damp here today. Send some of that my way!

Sorry... can't say that I get it!:rotfl: Just kidding with you! I know how much you've been looking forward to this weather so I'm happy for you!! I just hate that we go straight from cool/cold to HOT here! I would love to really experience Spring and Fall! And DH needs to get his car A/C fixed soon or he will be melting on the way home!

I'm so happy for you Angela! LOL. Yay! We've been running our air non- stop. Infact, it's so hot here now that one of the kids turned the air down and DH just told me it was frozen!!!!:( So now we all have to sit here in this rather warm house!! They just don't listen. We've told them over and over not to touch the thermostat. Oh yeah, no one did it, it just moved on it's own. Yeah right!

We have a "no one did it" person too at our house. He is EVERYWHERE. Someone recently broke my hamper (the one that has 3 sections....darks, lights and whites...I LOVED it). No one did it. No one saw anything. So....we have named our "no one did it" person. His name is Fred. Fred usually is in the van to make all the messes. Because...no one else left the McD's cup in there, or the paper, or the melted crayons, or the etc.....LOL

Sigh...yep...that's us too in CT. Blah! I'm so jealous of your beautiful day Angela!! I LOVE that weather and I can't wait until I have to flip the A/C switch on in my van. Hopefully soon!

That does look WONDERFUL! That is an awesome life to be that close to the beach and to have it warm all the time.....PERFECT! Just get rid of the snakes....LOL

Us too. It's been like this for weeks!! If the sun is out, it has been cold and windy. I really need to see the sun. One more week to Florida. :cooldance:

Oh Angela I can totally understand. I love for the temps to get in the 90s and DH loves for it to be cold which is why we live where we live. If I had my way, we would be living in Florida or Texas so that I could soak up the warmth and not be cold all the time. Today was a nice day here also. I am ready for summer!

We had rain here Saturday, but today was just gorgeous, the upper 70's -lower 80's. We hit the beach. The kids had so much fun. I just love this weather. I hope all of you can get passed all the rain and cold, and have some warmer days!!!

Okay Angela! You were supposed to be miserable with me! It has rained cats and dogs this weekend. It is just supposed to rain ALL week. I want some sun. And I am just about at my wits end with my husbands overtime. He is a CPA and so he is slammed. I am tired of my kids. :) But just one more week of this then I at least get him back Saturdays. It would be so much better if the weather was better so I could send them outside. O, I am so ready for some SUN!!!! AAAAA Okay enough of that. Angela I am glad you got some heat where you are at. :)

The next 2 days are supposed to be SOOO nice! 68 and 65 degrees! I think it is supposed to rain tomorrow though....but sunny today! I think we will walk to school! Well...at least walk HOME from school this afternoon!

Dee- I hope you have sunny and warm weather. We have had so much rain, that I know how depressing it can be! I will blow some sun your way!

Angela....great thread. I am right there with you. I need it badly. It was overcast and rainy here. When the sun finally came out it was at the end of the day. I need it hot too. I am a summer gal too. :sunshine2:

Cindy How beautiful! I love the beach. It must be so wonderful to go and walk it when you want. I find the ocean to be so theraputic....so healing for the soul. I always go (about 1 hour away) when I need my fix. Just looking at your pic...I could hear the waves and feel the breeze. Thanks I needed it.
