Let's take yesterday's lemons and make some lemonade. I got a $15 Amazon gift certificate from Winzy this week. Who wants to play a little game for it??

Object: First person to guess the book that I am thinking of. It's an obscure book, but one that can be found on Amazon. I don't know why it is stuck in my head. I have never even read it!!

Rules: First person to post the name of the book and author wins the gift certificate. You must be a current SR member at the time that the contest is posted. You may only post an answer ONCE an hour. More than once an hour and I will ignore your answer, even if it is right. Responses must be posted in this thread.

I'll come and periodically post more clues to get you on track. For now, this is all you get! It will take a while, but eventually someone will win.

But not the one you were thinking of huh? Too bad!:)

I like to use the giving tree in classes that I work in collaboratively to show the kids that there are lots of ways to show others that we care about them. It is a really good lesson.

Pretty far from it. LOL! I have a feeling that these books and the book stuck in my head have very little in common.

I guess it is time for another hint, isn't it? This one might just do it for those of you who have read a lot of kids' books.

The book is actually a sequel to another book.

Tricia,

You have to read it! I read it over and over as a kid and well, it might be because of my love of chocolate !

Umm.. my theory on why it is in your head.. Johnny Depp is Willy Wonka and you are wanting them to make the sequel to see more Johnny? LOL :rotfl:
