We just got some information about this Highlights program in the mail. My DH and I are very interested in ordering this for our kids... Is this on SR or can it be?

It's basically puzzle books for each state that help kids find out information about each state. They start with the "Sunshine State". :sunshine: ;)

Thanks!

That sounds really neat. I would be interested in that also. Another thing. I got a mailer about a magazine called cookie. They cater to not just parenting but the womanly side of moms as well as the mom side. I want to order it but if I can get it through SR somehow I would prefer it. Any ideas Tricia?

Is it part of our normal Highlights magazine link in shopping?

I just checked and it is listed on the Highlights website but the SR link says earn $4 for a Highlights subscription of at least one year. Im not sure if we can get credit for any purchase. It doesnt list a shopping credit percentage. The program is listed on their website for purchase though.

Lucky day! I just went to their affiliate program and it says "for a limited time" the commission is the same on the clubs like Which Way USA. It does not say how long limited time means. But I would assume until at least next week. So that club would be $4. Right now I can do $4 on any subscription, $4 on any club, and 4% on anything else on their site.

Janet--Your Cookie magazine is on Magazines.com for 6 issues for $9.97. Or 12 issues for 15.00.

I found Cookie Magazine on Magazines.com. I think you said that is where you get yours from so hopefully it works for me. 15% back on a 10.00 subscription isnt much but it sure helps. I think I will cry if it doesnt credit because I have had terrible luck with shopping credits lately LOL. I cant wait to get this magazine it really looks cute. I got 6 issues for 10.00. If I like it I will get a longer one.

ETA: LOL we were typing at the same time. Thanks for the info on Highlights. I think I will look into ordering that also.

I'm not sure that it would be considered a subscription as much as it would be a trial. They give you the Florida book and map (maybe... you have to scratch off a game piece to see if you get both) and a second state puzzle book and map risk free. If you keep it, you pay $4.95 s/h. Of ship it back within 10 days and owe nothing. I would love to do this through SR for credit.... I think my DDs would love this!:cooldance:

If you order through the website it is a puzzle book and map for 4.95 plus s&h and then they send you new ones every five weeks for the same price and you can cancel at anytime. I don't know if this is considered shopping or not but it is considered a club for sure so you should get $4 for signing up for the 4.95 club plus the s&h. It would be like getting the first puzzle book and map for the 2.XX s&h only. I think it would be worth it if this is something you want to try.

Oops! I mis-read that in the letter they sent... It is $4.95 + s/h. Thanks for mentioning that.:)

Tricia,

I placed the order with Magazines.com yesterday and I haven't cleared any cookies or anything since then because I have so much trouble with getting shopping credits lately Im scared to LOL. Do you think it is ok to do this or should I wait to see the credit? I know Im paranoid but I haven't had any shopping credits automatically credit for me in a long time so Im trying it this way.

I got Which Way USA for my son years ago when he was younger and I highly recommend it! After your child solves the puzzles in the big book, he/she still has a nice state map to keep. I have about 47 of the maps .... no idea where the others are. (I know they were sent because I had the accompanying books.) *hugs* to all -- VickiB79

Tricia have the magazines.com things been crediting? I haven't even looked at that offer since it was first posted, because I ordered 2 magazines at that time, which I have been getting regularly now, and never got the credit for the order. I have been leery of them since.

Magazines.com has been crediting really well. MagazinesQuick was terrible and I pulled them. NetMagazines was crediting but no one got the magazines!

Is the $4 offer for the clubs still available? (Previously, Tricia said it was for a limited time.)

My DS8 would probably love this. He's VERY into maps and mazes right now.

How often do they send a new book?

Im sure it is still good on all subscriptions and clubs. Here is the info on the Which way USA club.

Start your child's Which Way USA Club membership today with our special FREE BOOK AND MAP offer!

Order your first Which Way USA State Adventure for just $4.95 plus $2.45 S&H, and we’ll send the California Puzzle Book and Map absolutely FREE!

We’ll continue to send two new State Adventures about every five weeks at the same low price-- just $4.95 per state set, plus $2.45 S&H, conveniently charged to your credit card. There is no minimum number of state sets to buy and you are free to cancel at anytime. You can return any shipment you don’t want at our expense and receive a full refund credited to your account. Your satisfaction is 100% guaranteed by Highlights!

So I think I am looking at something around $20.00 every 5 weeks. I can't wait to see how it is. You can keep it as long or little as you like. You don't have to do the whole set if you decide that they don't really like it.

It looks like they only do uploads once a week and the last one was on July 6. So if you did it on or after July 6, they should upload it July 13. Which would mean that we would post it by July 8.

Tricia, does "Which Way USA" still count for shopping? Previously you said the clubs would only count for a limited time.

SunshineGirl

They did extend the deal until the end of July.
