I don't think you have to wait more than about half an hour.
I usually try to wait until I have a confirmation email.
Does this general guideline apply to offers and surveys as well?Quote:

If it is an offer or survey that credits at the top of the hour, wait until you receive credit to clear cookies. If it is the DS, it is not tracked by cookies and it won't matter.Quote:
