When I was a library director, I remember purchasing this DVD about Walt Disney -
http://www.amazon.com/Walt-Disney-Tr.../dp/B000ICM5RG
If you want to save some $, check with your library. I bet they have it. If not, some other library in your county should have it and they'll have free delivery.
Another fun semi-fiction one to read is the Kingdom Keepers. Sorry I don't remember the author but there are some kids who jump between time dimensions in the Magic Kingdom. I enjoyed reading that one.
Wish your DS good luck on his report.
I got it a few years ago at The Disney Store and I think they still sell it in the parks, but the only place I could find it now is amazon. http://www.amazon.com/Walt-Behind-Di...0273506&sr=1-2
I would definitely check with your library too, that's a great idea.
I found these places that have it.
Disney DVD Express
Disney Movie Club
Deepdiscount.com
TigerDirect
Things From Another World has the Disney Treasures DVD
I also found this when I did an SR search.
Have your son do a Google search for Marceline MO. It's the town where Walt spent a lot of his childhood and it was the small town he based 'Main Street USA' on. I think the woman who lives in the farm house that Walt Disney grew up in wrote a book.Quote:
