Using SR for Someone Else's Disney Planning????
Here's the deal....
I pointed a good friend of mine into the right direction when she planned her first Disney trip. She is a military wife so she got an amazing deal. I really didn't *do* anything for her, other than providing information.
She has "referred" me to another mutual acquaintance who is starting to plan her first Disney trip. Neither her nor her DH have ever been there so they are literally starting at square one. They have offered to PAY me to help them plan their trip. I thought they were joking, but she contacted me today and said they are serious, they are willing to pay me to take the time to "teach" them about Disney.
Here's what I was thinking... If I "educate" them about Disney and their options, and they tell me what they want, can I go to MU through SR and book their room for them? This way, I could get the 1% rebate AND MU would get paid too. I would tell them my plan, up front, and I would just take my SR rebates as their "payment". It seems like a win-win-win situation all the way around, but is it on the up-and-up?
