What I'm calling "Operation RNC Recovery" is a GO! I suggested to DH this morning that instead of exchanging gifts for our anniversary we should just go away one weekend. He IMMEDIATELY agreed (knew I would have NO problem w/that)! He suggested staying at a local casino...yeah, sure I'll look into that NO PROBLEM!! :angel:
Now, I just have to convince him to take the Wed before off so he doesn't get a late call. I've decided I'm going to try to hold off until the morning we leave. Unfortunately, our flight is at 7am. Soooo....not only am I going to have to get him up super early to surprise him w/the trip, he will have to pack. I can get most of the items done & we won't need much since we're there just for the weekend. He's kinda like a girl when it comes to getting the "right" clothes! I don't want to pack him things he doesn't like, doesn't think they fit, etc.
Oh & I was thinking this morning that maybe I'll set the clocks ahead so he goes to bed earlier that night!! :rotfl: Not sure how that will work, but maybe...:D

Hmm maybe his boss could tell him he's over on his vacation hours so he is giving him Wednesday off too?
Our HR department has been on our cases and have started forcing vacation if we haven't taken enough. Maybe they could do the same for you??
