Refurbished Kindle?

I just got my Kindle and I really like it alot. My DD7, who is really starting to love reading, would like one too. I am not ready to fork over $140 plus the cost of books for her to get her own. Is there anywhere that sells refurbished ones at a discount? I searched it on amazon.com and they do have them...for $137.90:rotfl:. If I am going to buy something refurbished, I'd like to save more than $2!

She thinks she needs an iPad....I don't think so. I think a Kindle will be plenty for her. I do not want the 3G one though. It is bad enough that she learned how to order PPV movies before we figured out the parental controls:eek:. I don't need her downloading anything she wants on the way to school.
