does anyone know the best place for buying ds's? i have decided to start my christmas shopping. would like to get the best price and best credit back to my account. kwim.

These rarely go on sale. The normal price is $129. When the blue one came out I think it was on sale at Target for $15 off. But I would have to say it was the only time I've seen it on sale in recent memory. Sometimes they might throw a gift card with it, pay regular price and get a $10 gift card type of thing.

I bought one for my niece from Wal-Mart and did get my credit through SR. I know alot of the merchants say they don't give credit for the console, but I was pleasantly suprised when I got it. And they had quite a few little game pack options.

You could probably do the instore pick up with Best Buy also and see if you get credit.

I agree the only time I've ever seen them go on sale is at Target for $119. I got DD's last year when the red/black one came out.

Just last week, TRU had them 25% off if you buy and accesory and game but you wouldn't get SR credit for it.
