In an article, Walgreen Chief Executive Jeffrey Rein said, "adding a loyalty card for customers?something rival CVS Caremark has had for years is under consideration.

Interesting. I always forget about Walgreens, but I wonder if a rewards card would increase revenues if it functions like extracarebucks rather than a mail-in rebate,

Sheesh, I hope not. I hate those stupid reward cards that you have to have to get the deals. Most of the grocery stores have now done away with them.

Hmm. That might be helpful as I have one right outside of the apartment complex. I have a keychain that is just my reward cards instead of putting it in my wallet or on my actual keys. It makes life easier.
