    Default Ash slide in Tennessee

Don't know if you heard about the ash slide in East Tennessee or not, but the TVA Steam Plant about 3 miles from my house had a holding pond break just before Christmas. We have been assured that the water and air are fine. But now the Schools annonce that they will be using only bottled water for cooking and drinking. This is the same water the kids are drinking at home. I really don't understand.

I saw this on the news the other night. How devastating! They showed before and after pictures of one family's view from their backyard and it was just horrible! I can't imagine that it will ever be the same again.

Just me, but I think I would be erring on the cautious side and using bottled water until more testing was done! I'm sure it's hard to know who and what information to trust.
