    Honestly, I don't feel bad about milking it when my DH forgets my birthday or our anniversary. I don't forget his important dates, EVER! You're the most important in his life and I don't think that it's immature or selfish to expect him to remember your important day.

    Gee, can you sense the resentment in my reasoning??
    DH better remember my birthday this year and do something more for it then just say Happy Birthday and call it good!

    Michael, so glad it worked out and you enjoyed your night!!

    DH is very good about remembering my BD. It's our anniversary he forgets.

    Happy <belated> birthday - I'm sorry that your SO forgot.

    When mine forgets I take the passive approach and drop little reminders every once in a while, doesn't get the big bang response immediately, but gets good return results at the next big occasion.
