Default Just an idea I had...

I am a BIG gift card giver at Christmas so I was looking at GiveFun last night
and saw the Darden gifts cards. You can use the one gift card at Red Lobster, Olive Garden, Smokey Bones, or Bahama Breeze. We eat at Red Lobster at least twice a month and Olive Garden is also one of our favorites...SO I thought 'why not just start stocking up on these for US to use'!

I'd be earning the points, plus have our dinners out already paid for! I'm sure I am not the first to have this idea but here I had been thinking of gifts for OTHER people, but we would use a LOT of these

Okay I was going to do this earlier this week but I think they have a charge. Is this true? I don't want to pay .95 to make .10. Did you have a fee?

Depending on how much you order, it may or not be worth it. But honestly, my family can spend $200+ at eating at these places in a month. If you order $200.00 the fee is $1.50 and the SR credit is $4.00.

    It says on the website:

"After completion of the redemption process, the selected merchant original gift certificate/card can be delivered by regular mail free of charge or by FedEx at the standard rates."

So, I 'think' (and feel free to correct me if I am wrong) that the only fee would be the $1.50, and if I am going to eat there anyway, I still made and extra $2.50 on SR if I order $200.00!!

It would make sense to place larger orders. I am getting ready to order a few for my Christmas Baskets and a few for us for eating out!!!

I think that is a totally wise move. There use to be a place where you could prepay gas and get a discount like that. Why not though. This day in age we need to save a few bucks.

I was only going to buy $50.00. We don't live real close to the restaurants but I was going to be going to Claim Jumpers with girlfriends in a few weeks and thought about it. But for $50.00 it just is not worth it. If they had gas cards or groceries, sure but they don't.
