I am very new to sunshine rewards. I placed an ordered thru sr to barnes and nobles. I received my order but do not see that I was credited for shopping.

If you don't see a pending credit at least in about 7-10 days, you can file a trouble ticket. Be sure to include your confirmation email from Barnes and Noble when you file it. Got to the bottom of the News and Links page, you will see the Trouble Ticket filing there.
If you think you know all the answers, it just means you haven't been asked all the questions.
I placed the order on 9/11 and do not see a hold on it. I have ordered other things from different stores and see the hold.

That's REALLY weird. I would go ahead and file a trouble ticket on it. It may be a completely administrative error.
