    Default Never Give Up on a Credit

    Last spring I booked 2 rooms at a Sheraton for Labor Day weekend and knew not to expect credit until after the stay. I thought about it once in early October and didn't even consider filing a TT since I no longer had the confirmation emails and honestly couldn't remember if I'd even clicked through SR to make the reservations. What a great surprise to see the credits in my account this morning, probably about 6 months after I made the ressies! Wish I had more 'surprises' like that out there! Thanks, SR!

    Luckily for us, most of the travel companies do a REALLY good job of coming back with the travel credits, even when the bookings are made very far in advance. Sometimes we have to match up the reservation numbers with the credits via trouble ticket, but I would bet that we end up with our travel credits more than 99% of the time.
