MVMCP?????

We are going for the first time Thursday night (11/15). This will be the tailend of our vacation. We go home friday night . I am really looking forward to this and I opted to buy a lesser amount of days park ticket and figured this into the cost of what I would have spent on an extra day. In essence I am spending what I normally spend on tickets, but it forces me to take a day (thursday) to putter around our resort and relax until we head over to the MK for the MVMCP.

I am not too concerned about the crowds. (now that being said I probably jinxed us!) We will have already have gone on all of the rides my girls wanted and this is a bonus for the atmosphere and to try something that we have never tried before (I always try one new thing on our disney trips....and I am thrilled I could finally work this in)

Not sure if all my blabbering helps with your decision, but I think that would be a great way to start your trip!

So are we!!!!!!!!! I was so bummed about not getting a princess breakfast I ordered tickets for the VMMCP for the 15th, that's the day we arrive, so I was a little skeptical at first. Our flight lands at 130 so I think that'll give us neough time to get setteled in etc and make our way over. I paid $200 for 5 of us, I think the 15th was a "special discounted night" which is the only reason why I went for it. It would have been at least $50 more to go on another night. We're excited, but then again this is our first trip. Most i've heard loved it. We'll be staying until Thanksgiving day when we fly back.

Cool. Where are you staying. I will be there from 11/16 to 11/24. We are staying at POR. I still have not definately decided. I am trying to rearrange dining reservations to accomodate the party but that is not easy to do at this time.

I think so too! I think this will really help get the kids into the spirit, but then again they are already! I've been taping Disney shows from the travel channel and they are just so excited! Again we're the 15th to the 22nd, we're staying off site, DH wanted to save some money and we found a house for $700 for the whole week included heated pool. The SR money I've earned and cash out will provide Chef Mickey and any other snacks and food in the park! We'll have to email pics of eachother or exchange cell phones so we can try and "meet" in person that night!
I'm defintely excited, none of us have ever been so this will be awesome for all of us!

I bought the tickets today with my giftcards from SR. Thanks for all of the replies and experiences. I am so excited. Disney and Christmas at the same time. I may not come home. I will work a pretzel stand at the Magic Kingdom for room and board. LOL..

I have never gone. But if I had the chance I would jump on it. I would like to go just once! I love the Christmas season AND WDW. What a combination that would be! And to see that parade would be beautiful.

I am soooo excited. I too LOVE Disney and Christmas. Both together is great. When we went last year at around the same time, we got to see the Osborne Lights. I stood in the street for 4 showings of it, till finally DH said can we go now. Well Bah Hum Bug!!! I also got me some Minnie Christmas ears.

we should definately try to meet up that night..........I will try to post or pm you some pictures of us.......not sure what we are wearing that night. I might make us all a shirt to wear (I am sure my family may boycott me on this, but I will try anyway!!!!

(I am getting back into the spirit of this trip after having a not great week last week........mom was in hospital...had a heart attack....but is now home and doing great!!!!.....she told me to stop concentrating on her and to finish the plans for my trip!!!! )
