As for a nice weekend...I thought DS had come through his double-whammy illness (first a head cold immediately post-Disneyland, then he threw up all over ME at a grocery store the other evening), we went to lunch with a friend of mine, and when we got back he decided that he was just incredibly sick, and I spent all day helping him. And all night (woke up with a nasty little croupy cough, which I'm familiar with b/c my little brother always got croup while I got bronchitis). Thankfully DH, who is just about to give notice at his job (woohoo!), called in sick (his last sick day) to help out DS while I slept and slept and slept (b/c now I'm sick again).

So yeah, happy b'day to me!

On the OTHER hand, while DH was at work on Friday, some of his buddies gave him money to buy me a cake, as a thanks to me for always making THEM cakes! Guess they didn't want me to make my own cake. So on Monday (payday and the day we were going to celebrate anyway) I have a big ol' small-bakery-made (for anyone near or in Tacoma WA, Corina's Bakery in downtown) Devil's Food cake all ready for me to pick up.

So let's just hope I'm not as sick by Monday as DS was last night!!!!!
