I hope these fires are put out soon and everyone is safe. I happen to come accross this on another board and thought you might like it too. Really smokey though.

It must be so scary. I was watching MSNBC and it showed 250,000 people have been evacuated from San Diego. I never knew San Diego was so close to LA.
They just said the winds shifted in Malibu and the fire is now heading towards the East.
OMG Faith! How close are you to the fires??? Sending you hugs and hoping all is and stays safe with you!!!

I wasn't even aware of fires in LA this time
I hoope that you all stay protected and safe in God's hands. You are in my prayers.
how terrible!!
I have spoken with the Chef de Cuisine at Disneyland along with the man incharge of all of the details for the CEO of Club 33 and he confirmed that everyone down there associated with disney is safe and fine. I thought I would share.

We were there the 20th-23rd
Yes, it was smokey, but not terrible- it was more the WIND that was AWFUL. A few trees were blown down, and they closed the DL Resort pools on Monday due to SO MUCH dirt/leaves/debris in the pools. We went swimming on Sunday and it was pretty yucky in the Grand CA pool- just dirt on the bottom of the pool, etc. Anytime we ate outside it was a joke as you had to hold onto your plate, napkins, etc or they would be gone in an instant. A lot of the kiosks in Downtown Disney were closed because of the wind blowing stuff off of them. The wind on Sunday definitely helped with the crowds though. I thought it would be pretty crowded due to a Orange County Children's Hospital Walk/Fundraiser at DL early that morning, but it wasn't bad at all.
Hopefully everything is OK now for our S CA Sunshiners!
