Target order but through Amazon server question...

I'm trying to place an order through Target.com (from the SR link), but when trying to login w/my Target.com user name & password, it keeps saying that I don't have an account. I tried to set up a new account, but said I already had one.

So I called & they said that they are having issues w/the server & that I should log in w/the Amazon.com server from the Target.com site.

My question is...if I do that, will I get credit for the Target.com order even though I technically signed in through the Amazon server???

What do you think????

Jen I had the same issue this weekend. I could only log in through target using my Amazon account. Everything seemed to go through Target though. I wasn't charged by Amazon and the checkout page was Targets. I haven't seen credit yet and I am hoping to get credit. I don't think that it is a temporary issue. If I remember correctly this has happened everytime I have checked out. I got credit last time I shopped at Target. I guess we will see. Maybe Tricia can look to see if the credits are coming through when she gets on. My order has completely shipped so I expect the credit to show up this week some time.

I've never had this happen to me before & I know that Tgt utilizes Amazon for orders, maybe it's just not "behind the scenes" right now due to volume?? I don't know...I couldn't bring myself to ask Gladys if she thought if I signed in through Amazon if I'd get my SR credit!! I just knew she wouldn't understand!!

I'm so glad you asked this question. I've been worrying about the same thing. Like Janet my whole order was completed on the Target site but I had to use my amazon log in and password. I'm crossing my fingers that it works because I ordered a lot

I just checked the Target report and there are a ton of credits for this past week so my guess its ok. It will probably take another few days at least to import these as we've had a ton of sales lately and these are all manual. Janet, I did see yours for sure.

I don't even have a separate Target account, and ONLY ever sign in using the "use my amazon info" part, and have always gotten Target credit.

Amazon is Target's only online presence, so you're always going through amazon when buying online.

Amazon is everywhere, bwa ha ha...OK, except for toys and babies r us, but other than that...
