Sears Gift card?

We are in need of new snow tires for our van. I was going to try and order the tires online through Sears, but I see they pay on gift card purchases so I was thinking of just buying the Sears gift cards through SR and then using them at the store. Does anyone know if they have electronic gift cards and if this is a way I might proceed and get SR credits??

I'll see what I can find out. I know that we did NOT get credit for an auto part that we ordered from Sears but that they have a separate Sears Auto Parts program that I can see about adding.

you mean I won't get credit if I buy $700 worth of tires at Sears through SR??

When you go to buy them, is it through Sears or through Sears PartsDirect? It should be okay as long as it is Sears. But PartsDirect is a different part of their company.

I just got a breakdown of all of their products and they do list "automotive: tires" in there, just not "auto services." So to me that means "yes" on the tires themselves but not on any installation.
