    Default It's a Small World rehab?

    Hoping someone can clear this up for me - is "It's a Small World" closing for rehab this year at DL, WDW or both?! Thanks for any info!!

    I just looked it up and it seems that the rehab is at DL. It was just redone at WDW 3 years ago or so.

    It is only being redone at DL because the boats they have are scraping bottom now. They are reworking them. HTH!

    people are heavier now then when the ride was designed... they are making the canal deeper, so the boats can handle more weight.

    Thanks so much everybody! All the info I had seen referred to DL, but just wanted to make sure before I break the good news to my Mom - it's her fav ride, and my Dad had heard (or so he thought...) that it would be closed at WDW while we are there in Aug. She was very bummed, but now I get to tell her the good news Thanks again!!

    Yeah and that scraping is causing rust, so they need to deal with that.
