Itunes Free Single Download Question

I found this today under the Freebies section and clicked on it.

I got a sampling of the song free and they want to charge me 99¢ to download it.


The banner says free download.

Am I interpreting it incorrectly??

Ok What i think is happening is that banner is takeing you to last weeks single of the week that is no longer free

New songs are added to the iTunes catalog every day, while the iTunes Store is updated each Tuesday. Apple also releases a 'Single of the Week' and usually a 'Discovery Download' on Tuesdays, which are available for free for one week.

My guess is that since Tuesday was a holiday they updated it today! and the banners have not yet been updated, This is just a guess! and I hope this helps!
