    Default Weekly Diet/Exercise Check In

    This is something I used to do on another group I belong to. It really helped me feel accountable and let everyone see who's diets were working and were not working. No one there is participating anymore but if anyone is interested here I would do the weekly update or everyone could just post themselves each week.

    This is an example of the information we reported on the other site. Each week I would put everyone's info in a chart

    Name: extx
    # of lbs. to lose: 50-60
    Last week: -3 lbs.
    This Week: -1 lbs.
    Total Lost: -39
    Exercise # of days: 2 Cardio/2 weights/Skiing 5 hrs.
    Water Oz./Day: 64-120
    Diet/Portion Control: Atkins 20g.
    Notes/ Comments: I am sooooo sore from the ski trip. I feel like a little old lady


    So if interested let me know if you want me to compile everything once a week or if we want to just post weekly. For me it will be every Saturday since that is weigh in day.

    However you want to report your journey is not a problem around here. Normally we throw up 2 weekly threads starting on Mondays that run through the next Sat for weighing in and then for weekly exercising and you can check in whenever you want to on those threads. We'll use your thread to start this week.

    What are the titles of the thread normally. I didn't see anything except January Exercise challenge and work out buddy sign ups.

    ETA: I think I found the weigh in thread under Weight Watchers but since I don't do "Weight Watchers" I am never paid attention to it. I thought it was to show how well those doing Weight Watchers were doing.

    Normally its called Weighin Week XXX-XXX and then Exercise Challenge Check in for month XXX but I actually like your idea as it keeps track of both things so lets try to get people posting in here.

    Notes/ Comments: This week I am bringing my lunch & snacks to work & are being very self controlled at home at night. It's been difficult, but I'm doing it. I need to get on the eliptical more often though. It's just been nice to be able to walk outside w/o mounds of snow everywhere.

    Exercise # of days: 1 this week....shooting for 3
    Water Oz./Day: 40oz usually more
    Diet/Portion Control: I'm on a fruit and vegtable diet, w/bulgar wheat, oats and barley for grains, walnuts and almonds for nuts. That's it!!


    Notes/ Comments: I thought I would be starving on this diet...but I am doing okay. It's been a real challenge.

    Diet/Portion Control: WW --Saturday AM weigh ins
    Notes/ Comments: I weighed in this morning & was quite happy w/the loss. It's amazing what staying on track does to the scale!! :0)
