STP advertises a 5% discount for new shoppers. This discount is sent as an e-mail. Can I use this 5% off while shopping through SR?

If you use this you take a chance on not getting credit through SR. The reason is that the merchants assumes you would have shopped through them anyway since they gave you a coupon. Sometimes you just have to weigh the coupons against the cash back. If you don't get credit, you can't file a TT for it when you use a coupon that is not ours.
If you think you know all the answers, it just means you haven't been asked all the questions.

OK...I wasn't sure. I wouldn't have gone to STP if it hadn't been for SR, so I'll just stick with the SR credit!
