Thread: Back to Mini Training

    My long run yesterday was 12 miles. I finished a little over 2 hours. The first 3 miles are still SO hard for me. I know it's all mental- I have to figure out how to push through that. I want to do at least one more long run next week and then I'll probably cut back a little before the race. Trying to work things out with kids and all so that Tony and I can run a long run together this weekend- we'll see how that works out.

    I know that my actual race time probably won't be great since I'll be stopping for a lot of pictures, but hopefully it will be decent. Trying not to think about it too much yet or I'll get nervous!

    I'm just going to rest my legs today. If I can motivate myself maybe some strength training...

    Still at the mini marathon training! Finishing up my 10th week of 2 "short" runs, 2 Zumbas, and 1 long run a week. I have 5 weeks left in my training plan but actually 6 weeks until the event. So I am feeling pretty good!!
