Default What are you earning for/What have you used your SR credits for lately?

We haven't had one of these threads in a while!

So what are you earning credits for or what have you recently spent your credits on?

I don't have one particular trip planned. Between Mike and I we have roughly 4 trips coming up ranging from cruises to weekend trips. Our next trip together we are hoping to go to Vegas for Memorial Day weekend. Unfortunately we had a break in at the house last month and have had to spend some money repairing our doors, installing new ones, and installing the security system. So we are waiting for our bonuses to see if we can still swing Vegas or if we have to save it for next year. The other trips are either paid for or really short. We have a wedding in Dallas in May that we'll go up and spend a night and then we have a September cruise that is paid up. So fingers crossed for some good news in the coming weeks.

spent a week at Port Orleans French Quarter last fall, almost completely paid for by 3 years worth of Sunshine Rewards. Our first stay at a mod!

Saving now for our next trip, will probably not be until 2016/17.

My SR goes into a separate bank account thru Paypal so I have money available for extra treats for the family if I want to use it.

sorry to hear about the break in; hope you and your family are doing OK. It must be unsettling.

Disney trip 5/16 (Anna's graduation trip) and hopefully return Jan, 2017. Grace will be finishing college a few months later. Figure that will probably be our last family trip all together.

Excellent thread Cate!!! We usually go to Disney twice per year, that being said I'm only able to earn enough on SR for one $500 Disney gift card per year....I have a personal rule and will only cash out for $500 Disney gift cards. I will spend it all and then some at the Disney Food & Wine Festival this coming October which can't get here soon enough!! We cancelled our May trip this year because we are going to be first time grandparents due in May, how dare they mess with my Disney vacations, LOL.....only kidding, we are getting excited.

I am saving up for our Disney trip this December. We will be at Boardwalk Villas for three days, then board the Disney Fantasy for a 7-night Eastern Caribbean cruise. THEN back to Disney World to stay at Bay Lake Towers for another 7- nights. We will celebrate my dad's birthday on the cruise and my sons birthday the last week at Disney. Should be awesome!

I don't usually spend my SR on practical things (like food, room, tickets). I treat myself to frivolous things that I want, that I would usually say were too expensive or not in the budget. Like Dooney & Bourke purses

Wow I am saving for Disney in Dec too but our trip is going to be nothing like what you guys are doing! I want to sneak in on YOUR vacation!!! (I will be happy just to get there though seriously!) I am kind of hoping to work in a cruise for 2015.

lol! I totally get this! I just spent my entire shopping (clothing) budget for April & May while on vacation last week with my mom. I'll be looking forward to SR money to pay for something fun on my next vacation.
