Free Ancestry.com Access for Irish Collections

Today is the last day to get free access to the newly-released Irish collections at Ancestry.com. Take a quick look and see how much Irish blood you have in you.

When I started using Ancestry.com, I was amazed at what I found. Within days I was able to trace branches of my family tree back hundreds of years. It's interesting the way that once you tap into a branch that someone in your distant family has already researched, you can all of a sudden see the whole tree.

If nothing else, it will be fun to see if you are at all Irish! (or as much as you think you are)

Very cool. I'm not 100% sure of names of who came over when, but poking around the site I found a census from before my mom was born listing her mom, dad, and brother.
