Default What food do you love or hate at Flower festival 2017?

We just got back from the Flower Festival at Epcot Disney World opening on March . So lovely .

Found the most amazing desert at England's outside booth
    CIDER HOUSE
    UNITED KINGDOM
Freshly Baked Lemon Scone with Crème Fraîche and Mixed
    Berries
"Freshly Baked Lemon Scone with Crème Fraîche and Mixed Berry compote" it was delicious and Gluten Free and Vegetarian. Soo delicious we got back inline for a second one. Plus cost less than $5 was $3.95.

    dissapointments :

was edible but not as described
    FLEUR DE LYS
    BETWEEN MOROCCO AND FRANCE FRANCE
    FOOD:
Tarte Ã* l’Onion Alsacienne: Alsatian Onion Tart with Sautéed
Onions, Fresh Thyme, and Rosemary on a Flaky Puff Pastry
    Crust

Was 1/4" inch of pastry 4" sq hard on 2 edges about 1/ 2" and rest was soggy center pilled with onions and a creme sauce. It was not flaky at all and had to roll up to be able to eat. I like creamed onions but expected a flaky puff pastry tart so was not worth the price.

    was awful
    THE SMOKEHOUSE:
    BARBECUE AND BREWS
    THE AMERICAN ADVENTURE

Beef Brisket Burnt Ends Hash with White Cheddar Fondue
    and Pickled Jalapeños

6 of 1/2" squares of meat tasted like pork not brisket and was not burn ends but had soy or other additave to make brown and just tasted nasty.
Did not taste of brisket. has was potato has with bell peppers. White cheddar founde was jsut runy cheese sauce they put on top and added really hot jalapenos,

    was so bad threw away.

    LA ISLA FRESCA
    SHOWCASE PLAZA
    FOOD:

    okay not great
Caribbean Conch Salad with Avocado, Mango, and Onions

Was a rice combination (not lettuce salad) and nicely spiced and loved the avocados chunks and mango chunks but only had 1 tiny 1/8" x 1/8" piece of Conch that was way over cooked. so was more mango avocado salad

    Loved
Sugar Cane Shrimp Skewer with Steamed Rice and
    Coconut-Lime Sauce

really good 6 big shrimp on candy cane skewer cooked just right not hard on top of white rice with a sauce on shrinp.
    Very nice and delicious shrimp

Here is printable passport to see what is avaliable, but the passports at Epcot have stickers inside.

LOL, my husbands favorite is the burnt ends at the Smokehouse. My favorite is the tuna poke at Hanami, it wasn't offered at last years F&G but it is back again this year,...can't wait for May to get here. Everyone's tastes are different that is why it is good to try everything, you never know. We like to share the samples but we go for two weeks so we have plenty of time to try everything and then go back for the favorites.
