Default Problem With Latest Shoebuy Purchase :(

i did the shoebuy offer last week and bought myself a pair of really snazzy-lookin' black leather dress shoes (easy street wendy). they arrived today and when i put them on, they're really snug (not painful, but very close) across the front of the arches of my feet (not the actual arch, just kinda up against the front of it). they fit beautifully otherwise. do i need to send them back? will they stretch a little as i wear them? i'm a new balance sneakers kinda girl, so i have little experience w/ dress shoes but do occasionally need them. HELP!!

If they are leather and only a little snug then they should stretch with a few wearings around the house. If they are not leather it is hard to say if they will stretch or not. It really just depend on what material they are and how snug they are.

lol, that's exactly what i was doing! wearing them around the house to see if they'd stretch. i'm hoping once i wear them a couple of times, that top edge of the shoe will stretch. not sure sending them back would help-a wide would be too roomy based on how these fit. thanks!

I agree with Janet. If they are leather they will stretch out and be fine.

you could also try stuffing them when you aren't wearing them. I have a pair of shoes that are snug, and I always stuff them with a stiff paper whenever I store them. almost like carboard but thinner, rolled in a ball and stuffed in the spot you need to stretch.
