Trip surprise

Hello everyone!

I am still in Florida with DH and friends. We are having a fantastic time. Some days we are freezing our tushies off - other days we are wearing shorts and tank tops. All the Christmas decorations are wonderful. We have watched The Candlelight Processional twice. Neil Patrick Harris was the narrator both times. On Wednesday we are going back to watch it once more. The guest narrator is Marlee Matlin. One of my friends traveling with us has a sister who is deaf, so she is going to video tape the Processional for her sister.

Ok, on to the surprise. DH and I had a small "dream" bestowed upon us. Today we were at Animal Kingdom. We rode the rapids ride... and wouldn't you know... I was the ONLY one on the whole raft who got wet. I was completely soaked from head to toes. Luckily I always bring a change of clothes with me to the parks. So DH and I went out to the car so I could change. The tram wasn't anywhere to be seen so we decided to walk back to the entrance. As we were starting the walk back, a cast member in a golf cart pulled up beside us and offered us a ride to the front gate. Once we got there he gave us each pins that said Honorary Citizen of Walt Disney World. He thanked us for visiting and wished us a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Then quick as that he was gone.

So, as I said, it wasn't a big "dream" but it was awesome anyways. DH proudly wore his button all day. (of course it was to show off to our friends who didn't get one ) He was just such a little kid.

With the $300 in gift cards I earned from SR, I have been able to pay for all our meals and snacks in the park. I love SR!!!

I will post more trip stuff later. I just wanted to tell you about my experience today.

WOW, very nice Elaine. I love it when the CM's do special stuff.

Now just keep that WARM weather in Orlando till I get there.
